What is Easter?

People have different beliefs about Easter. Some people think it is about bunnies, easter eggs, food, when Jesus Christ was resurrected and some people don’t celebrate it.

Easter Eggs

Ancient Egyptians and Persians believe that the world hatched from an egg. they decorate

eggs.  The first chocolate egg was in Ancient Germany.       

Easter Sunday

Christians believe that Jesus died on Easter Friday and God brought him alive on Easter

Camp

On Wednesday to Friday last week the year 5 and 6 had camp at school. I was in the camp team The All Stars. I did Kayaking, swimming, basket ball, cooking, Kill Zone and  the amazing race.

My favourite part was going to Mangere pools because got  to go on the slide. I went to the water park. There were buckets and sprinklers. I got wet!

I found camp tiring but fun. It will be even better next year!
